Love her or hate her you just cant ignore her cus she’s currently making amazing music. Her latest song that is banging of the room on Youtube is “Paint the Town Red” by Doja cat. The music video launched on the video entertainment portal on 4th August 2023 has ganered over 50.7 Million views. The fiesty young lady shows her most dangerous sides on the video track potraying herself as the very manifestation of the daughter of the Devil with the chorus consistently chyming “…she the devil…..”. A video not for kids its one that women whom have been victims of gossip, backbitting and lots of male related female extended beef or as we would rather say in Nigeria “bad belle”, would find relishing as the songstess cum rapper demonstrates in her lyrics how much she does not care what you think about her. rather she claims to take full responsibility for her actions.
To add irony to the video a large portion of the video shows Doja parading actual cow meat (Beef) replicas dressed like a butcher throwing away Beef jsut to butress her point. Doja is backed by powerfull bass beats and wielding an axe in a haloween cosyum which adds flavour and a touch of mysticysm to her subtle threats to all who dare express beef against her. Not surprisingly the video was directed by her and she effectively used the video to demonstrate her artistry.
Paint The Town Red ♥️
The track is the kind of song hop-pop fans will play back to back as one fan says “I literally can’t stop playing this song , doja’s a musical genius , I dont care how many of her disloyal fans turned against her because she decided to be her fullest self. forever a doja supporter!”

Doja loves the controversies thats why the message of this song is so edgy. She’s smart too, she got people to talk about her before her music came out. That’s how you play the game! As the saying goes don’t hate the player hate the game…..or better still “change the game”. Fans agree that no one can deny the fact she is super talented!! It is very rare to see an artist that appreciates fans who like her songs but also emphasizes that she does all this for herself not just to please “fans”.
Relationship with fans
She doesn’t want to be in a relationship with fans where as an artist she constantly feels the need to do everything that the fans like and ignore what she actually wants. More like “I love you, but i’m gonna do me”. Fans respect her for putting up boundaries. Too often people misunderstand that their parasocial relationship goes both ways, that harassment is okay, that these artists exist to please us when… that’s not the case. They’re here to make music they’re proud of produce videos they’re proud of and post like how they feel. We are too easily brainwashed by big media conglomerates into believing that how they want it is how these artists want it.
Some fans agree that babes like Doja Cat are the next level I hipop ready to give all dem Nicky Minaj a run for their money while re-enacting the days when FoxyBrown, Queen Latifah, Left eye and DaBrat ruled the female hippop stages in the United states. But indeed it is fair to add that this latest song is no inspiration to young ladies for good behaviour.
