Senator Oluremi Tinubu is Wife of former Governor of Lagos state and National leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu. She is currently a serving Senator at the National Assembly. She is seen in this video being confronted by some protesters and she addresses one of the female protesters as “one of the thugs” and refer to another female as a “Man” even though the woman looks and speaks respectably.
Senator Oluremi Tinubu is also seen to be pushing a man who tries to calm her down and get her attention but she exhibits a lot of impatience while attempting to make her way through the protesters with the aid of her security detail.
The female protester whom she insulted insisted she is not a thug and respectfully requested that Senator Oluremi Tinubu withdraw her statement. But the senator insists on repeatedly calling her a thug while pushing those in her way. She also referred to another woman as a “Man” which further outraged the protesters. But the Senator walked away unscathed.
We at NaijaNoiseMakers realy salute the courage of the two women who stood up to Senator Oluremi Tinubu like Vixens and insisted they were not what she called them. Both women exhibited the true African Black female spirit who would not allow themselves to be bullied or cowed by the Senators status.
