Officials of Royal Touch International School Kubwa Abuja are trying to manage an unfortunate situation which occurred within the school premises within the week.
A video had earlier been released by staff of the school of a man who had entered the school premises to ask for his children and threatened to removed his children from the school if not attended. Staff of the school observed that his demeanor and behavior was observed to be suspicious. Upon further investigation it was observed that the man did not have any children at the school. Rather the specific kids he was asking for were someone else’s kids unknown to him.
Consequently due to his inability to properly account for his actions within the school premises he was suspected to be a kidnapper and apprehended by vigilant security staff and teachers. After questioning he was appropriately handcuffed and handed over to the police at Phase 4 Kubwa Abuja. But information reaching us further shed more light on the story that after further investigation by the police the man was said to be a known mentally unstable individual. The police IPO did great work by locating his family home in Gbazango, off Arab road. The mans parents were advised to take him to a rehabilitation home.
The school is assuring all its parents of the safety if children within as all necessary security measures are in place.
