Grandpa says, Our common enemy is poverty , not our hustle. You are going to see a lot of posts this year referring to HATERS and Bla bla bla. All these people create the impression that there is a competition and makes it look like life is do or die. Brother, sister, your only hater is poverty. Work hard and fight it and ignore every spirit of jealousy. Be busy enough not to hate, be productive enough not to recognise hatred. One love.
You are a slave only to the master you empower. Winston Churchill said : “I took the taxi one day and went to the BBC office for an interview … and when I arrived I asked the driver to wait for me for forty minutes until I got back! But the driver apologized and said ‘I can’t because I have to go home to listen to Winston Churchill’s speech’ …”
Churchill says he was amazed and delighted with this man’s desire to listen to his conversation! So Churchill took ten pounds and gave to the taxi driver without telling the driver who he was. When he collected the money he said: “I’ll wait hours until you come back, sir! And let Churchill go to hell!”. Principles have been modified against money. Nations were sold for money, Honor was sold for money. Brothers were sold for money. Families were split for the money. Friends have been separated for the money. People were killed for the money! Who gave so much power to money and made people their slaves? Na the matter we still dey reason so.
